That is if I removed the old one, and bought the new one and all the hardware?
I mean just to hook everything back up, not to change anything?

Depending on how much alterations he has to make to the area….$3000-$5000. That is taking into consideration he has to run new piping and supply the fixtures. If not,,,maybe $2000-$3000.

Call several plumbers and get free estimates.

You might get it for a low as $500 or so. Really it depends on how much time it take them. It sounds like you are just removing an old head and putting a new one up, in which case do it yourself. Its supper easy.

Who needs a plumber? The materials they install are always fiberglass (which is GARBAGE and lasts 3 to 5 years tops) or steel tubs or cast iron tubs. Both are not good anymore. Tub enamel finishes are computer sprayed on now and very thin so you scrub them and you scrub away the finish in as litttle as eight years and you have to get a new tub again…and what a mess!

Tub liners from bath fitter last 30 to 45 years. they are actually better than new tubs. Your old tub acts as support for the liner. Bath Fitter is the only company that has ‘tester tubs’ for every tub ever made in their local warehouse to make sure you have the exact liner that fits your exact tub.

Including all materials faucets etc., and wall prep and floor prep as long as no MAJOR damage underneath between $1500 (tub liner only) and $4500 for shower with one piece wall they bend slightly to get it through their door. Bath Fitter has the only one piece wall in North America (no corner seams of caulking). Also lifetime waranty on materials, labor and caulking.

Please be very careful when using other acrylic companies. One in particular has a reputation for making things up so if you call someone besides Bath Fitter research EVERY WORD they tell you!
