yes you can fix it just find out what pipe is leaking and replace it if it is the drain from the sink just go to you local homeimprovment store and tell you need drain kit for a kicthen sink or you just take in the old one and they will match it up for you

The easiest way is to use plumbers tape , this is a black rubber tape that can stretch , it is wrapped tight around the leak , it is about 3/4 inch thick and is wound around the leaking pipe and becomes part of the pipe , it is permanent and very easy to use , cost about $6.00 at home depot, not suitable for high pressure supply pipes but very good on drains

Yes you can fix it yourself:
Determine exactly where the leak is coming from.
If the leak is on the drain pipes, the water can run down the pipes and drip, say, from the bottom of the P trap. Sometimes fittings just get loose over time, and tightening the connections will solve the problem. It would be unusual for a pipe to actually be cracked, unless something has bumped it pretty hard.
If the leak is from one of the pipes supplying the faucet, you could still have a loose connection. It could be a bad faucet (leaking internally), or again a cracked pipe.
Find out where the leak is and ask another question. You could get a more specific answer.

You can repair it by cutting out the bad pieces and gluing in new pieces.

yea it’s fixable. most P traps come in one package and can be replaced in 20 minutes.

Yes, first try to tighten all connections, most often a sudden leak in a drain assembly is caused by someone bumping into the pipes with the trash can or whatever is kept under there. If it turns out to be a cracked pipe, and it truly is PVC (white pipe) replace it with ABS. If you do need to replace it, you can replace only the piece that is actually cracked if it is the tailpiece, extension, etc. If it is part the trap you will have to replace the whole trap. If you have an all-glue trap (the parts are glued, rather than threaded together) all you can do is replace it :( (I strongly suggest you replace with a threaded trap if this is the case)

    GOOD LUCK :)

PVC and CPVC pipe are really easy to repair. Where is the leak at? On the waste line or the water supply line? To replace a pipe leak you basically need a small piece of pipe the same size, some primer, glue ,connectors and patience. If you want to repair it yourself, I’d get a basic plumbing book from your local library and use it as a guide for your first time repair.
