Because McCain doesn’t want to talk about the economy. Their campaign made it clear that if they talk about the economy, they will lose.
Well, their losing anyways…because people WANT to talk about the economy.

They jumped on the slogan of Joe the Plumber without really checking out Joe the Plumber, again using stupid talking point to rally around.
Joe the Plumber lied to Obama while he was talking to him, I really suspect he was a plant, he’s not a contractor, he’s not planning to buy his company, but to Obama’s credit he took him seriously and told him the truth, realizing that the situation Joe presented could be a reality for someone.
McCain mistakenly thought he had a great opportunity, if he twisted the truth and exploited Joe he could make political points with him.
